EAL: 17th Edition Requirements for Electrical Installations BS 7671 (Book Provided)

EAL 17th Edition

The cost of the course includes training, assessment and certification fees.

This qualification is primarily aimed at practising electricians and professionals of allied trades, who require an understanding of the content and application of the IEE Wiring Regulations, BS 7671: June 2008 (17th edition, incorporating Amendment No. 1 2011: IET Wiring Regulations). The course spans four days, at the end of which all candidates sit the same exam, regardless of whether they are seeking their first certification or just updating their qualification.

A basic understanding of electrical principles is recommended in order to be successful in this course, which is fast becoming an industry standard. This course is entirely classroom-based and it introduces the regulations and covers their application through explanation and worked examples. We will ensure that you are fully prepared for the EAL test which is a 2-hour multiple-choice, online examination. The exam is ‘open book’, meaning that you will be able to refer to the 17th edition book during the exam process. You will be provided with your own copy of the 17th Edition book as part of the course.
