Introduction

What You'll Learn

This new entrant course is aimed at people with or without any gas industry background and is run one day a week for 30 weeks at our centre in Basingstoke. You’ll be trained by our highly experience team with real-world experience to help you succeed.

In our comprehensive courses at WLT, we cover a wide range of gas and water related topics to ensure you acquire all the skills and information necessary to obtain the qualifications you need. Gain hands-on experience with practical training exercises. This will help you to build confidence in carrying out installations, repairs, and maintenance tasks.

Courses

This course is an IGEM recognised training programme certificated by Cert-ain Certification Ltd and is designed specifically for new or recent entrants to the gas industry who have no previous experience but are seeking ACS gas qualifications leading to Gas Safe registration.A requirement for entry onto the course is that the candidate must be working in the gas industry under the supervision of a Gas Safe registered operative who will be required to sign off a work based portfolio.Course entry requirements:No previous experience in the gas industry is required, however because of the technology content and planned home study candidates should have a reasonable standard of English and Mathematics.
